no massive mods.my buddy is super happy.i'm actually surprised comparing against my 026 with just a thin base gasket and 16" .325 .063 bar and chain.this one is a 18" .063

should have installed my on screen camera sound digitizing software.
actually this is the single ring 026 i built.i was trying to record and hopefully catch how many more rpm this thing was cranking compared to a stock 026.
tecomec single ring with caber ring,squish is at .027.muffler mod,.025 off of the key for ignition advance,32:1 belray in 90 non ethanol.
this one really throws some noodles.

Juggy, tighten that squish to .017 and he'll be even happier.

hey dave selfie sticks are a fad. besides if i do that everybody will be giving me hell for not wearing ppe.
of course my 357xp with full skip has me seriously thinking about chaps right now.

I've found that even the early mufflers on the 026 are way to restricted.the ones with the cage over the port even more so.instead of removing the cage i've started drilling a hole in the plate with a step bit.the front cover gets multiple large holes over the outlet.
Right now on the one i'm running i'm testing out one of definative daves farmertec mufflers.it still has the inner baffle cage and a shark gill side exit.still restrictive but affordable enough for mods.i'm thinking maybe a 1/2" hole with a deflector for now.

This one had no baffle and I opened it up a bunch. It runs fine but I'm use to a ported 90cc saw so anything is hard for me to adjust to.

My 034 runs good but it's far from stock.
