Have a line on a 019t for $75. Whats everybody's thoughts on it? I know the 200/201's are better but I am only going to be using occasionally and interested in the opinions of this saw from those who have used it.

I might be tempted if it was in perfect working order. They are notorious for being a pain to work on but I haven't messed with one. They are gutless saws and remind me of the little echo's. That said, if it runs right and has no issues then go for it. I wouldn't want one as a fixer upper though.....

I cut a lot of firewood with one. It ran fine and was a good saw for me. The oiler did quit on it and it wasn't the easiest thing to work on, but I was able to get it back into service. I eventually sold it on evilbay still for half of what I pad for it.

My experience was good with that model.

I have one and have been happy with it. It's a good climbing saw for someone that's not living in a tree. It met all my needs. I rarely climb anymore but other than changing the oiler never had reason to work on it. It paid for itself many times over.

The power comparison to a 200T is not really close. They will get the job done, just not quite as fast or reliably. Opening one up is not for the inexperienced. Guttin one is a bit unsettling and getting them back together is a whole another battle. With carbs being a common problem they couldn't be located in any worse of a location. That being said I have 4 of them in my garage and 1 200T.
