Somebody JBWeld the prick together err what?

I'm starting to think along the same lines..

just wack it with your wacker:smiley_1140:

I would, but its in its winter hibernation

You need leverage. Maybe try putting the cylinder in a vice, and put an allen wrench or metal rod in the pan half of the screw holes and lever it over the shaft.

I already tried that action too

Beat that *b-word like you mean it. Lol. As you can tell I can't stand clamshell Saw's!!

Me too...

Grind a slit in the pan in line with the seal.....without touching the head. Slide a screw driver in there for a wedge.

029 039 290 390 291 391 .... will not work on. Period. Just sayin.

The first saw I pulled apart was my 390. It was a process and a pain. I got it done. It was not hard too me. There is something wrong if it won't come apart.

My decompression valve fell apart and wedged itself between the piston and cylinder head. Locked it up solid. I pulled it apart got it out, out it back together and still works.

Did she pop yet? If not a m80 could solve the mystery!! And one's again I hate clams it's almost worth just giving the guy another saw. But unfortunately Stihl and Husqvarna think them darn clams are worth there wait in gold I think there worth the trip to the gun range.:camper::risas3:
