Went by the local park and noticed this tangled pile of various trees.
Anybody spot or can positive ID anything worth nabbing?
I think I see a limb or two of white oak & red oak...but curious to these others.

Thanks

If you take it i would like to see both woods split . And here how they split . Ash should split super easy . White is going to tough and very string . Please let us know .

Anyone know what these two might be? There's a little chunk of mulberry (or so I was told) in the lower right, of the picture with a bunch of pieces.

Possibly locust

Locust is the only thing I know it's not. We have alot of honey locust here and it's about the best firewood there is around here, so it's the only thing I can ID. Lol

The dead piece cuts fairly easy, but it's been dead for years. There was no bark on it anywhere, when I took it down. The other stuff with bark, cuts decent and even split OK, even given that the moisture content is higher than my moisture tester will register.

Was told that this is Pecan. Stringy like Hickory and they are supposedly related. Has no smell and I’ve never seen this kind of wood before. Any ideas? I’ve never cut or split Pecan before either so maybe that’s what it is.
