I lost a short piece of chain when I was in my early twenties. Found it about 5 or 6 years ago. I had laid it in the crotch of a willow tree.

I have found some of those in those big dry euc logs...luckily with my splitter and not my saw

I looked at the first picture and though 'what is that?" - Then I realized it was a V8 engine. What the Hell? I wonder what the story is on that, someone burying a V8 to see if it would sprout a bigger engine?

Shaft mounted rocker arms and skirts ... I can't tell from the pic if the push rod goes through the intake manifold, but if it does ... FE Ford (352, 361, 390, 406, 410, 427, 428).

Oil pump in the timing cover is a dead giveaway,
Jeep 304, 360, 390, 401

I have had a very stout built 304 and 401. I still think I preferred my 304 for what I used it for which was mud running and sand drags/hill climb
