SOMEONE had their Attention Span tuned to a different frequencyTold myself I wasn’t going to do this.
Make sure the pan and bottom of cylinder are flat on a piece of glass, I had one 025/250 I fought for a long time and it was because it had a warped pan. Would do all kinds of weird stuff and even run fine at times depending on temp outside.Told myself I wasn’t going to do this.

Doesn’t hurt to check since it’s all apart is all I’m saying, may not have leaked there that you know of but I check the clamshells every time I have one apart nowIt wasn't leaking there.
At least I checked the degree of carburizing - there was a lot of it, someone had been using it for 10 years and I had been using it for a few years as wellDon't worrythe clutch in my trimmer fell apart and I also quickly dismantled the engine

Here was one on CL a month ago for cheapI am putting together an 032 for the display from bits and pieces I had on hand and find I need the air filter cover & nut, and a starter pulley with the pawl & clip. Anyone out there have some bits to spare? As you can see this saw is a beater so the parts don't need to be too nice.

I had a pulley from something else on hand that holds the rope, but it does not actually work with this saw.

I have a complete one that’s in better shape with a toast ignition, I can send it and the 040 rewind I still have here now that it’s been located again. Was put in a box to ship and got moved and was in a corner and actually lost for awhile. I found it a couple weeks ago again so it can go with the 032.I am putting together an 032 for the display from bits and pieces I had on hand and find I need the air filter cover & nut, and a starter pulley with the pawl & clip. What’s the difference between the 0613 and 0614 though?
Any 041 muffler should work, I have a pile of 041 parts and actually a couple supers. I measured a bunch of them trying to figure out if any different between super and regular. While I found a few with a slightly larger tube between the flange and can the restriction is the exhaust port and flange. Since this is the case ant muffler should work weather it’s the single outlet or the old 4-5 slit style ect.Anyone know the exact part number for the muffler on a 041 super?
Here’s the 032, it and the 040 rewind will go out MondayI am putting together an 032 for the display from bits and pieces I had on hand and find I need the air filter cover & nut, and a starter pulley with the pawl & clip.
