Nice, congrats!!!
This is the first startup tank after warming up.... for having about .050 squish to minimize (got it down to about .010") free port at tdc, it runs pretty snotty..... would love to have a way to get the squish AND the freeport down.....🤣 could be a real beast then.....timing is pretty close to stock, as i just kinda freehanded it, intake was lowered a hair, exhaust was raised and widened a hair, raised mostly to just even out the lopsided port from the factory LOL, lower transfers opened up and smoothed into the uppers, since there was a nasty bulge in both ports that restricted the flow of the casting, and uppers were untouched since i dont have a right angle head for the flex shaft nor do i have the cahones to take a grinder to the uppers yet.... my woods port saws run pretty dang good "in my opinion" 🤣🤣🤣

It’s got 10 thousandths squish only? Seems a bit tight compared to what lots of guys like at 18-20 on bigger saws but hopefully she runs a long time.

Could you put 066 piston in it? According to meteor website. Squish would be a little higher and skirt would be longer might have to trim skirts down to make it work

I am thinking no, as i already had to trim the intake side skirt a few thou to clear the case....was hitting at bdc.... i could have trimmed the case, but didnt want to have to flush the bearings again....LOL

I would prefer a tighter squish, but that comes at the expense of more freeport.... it seems to run and start well at 050 squish so its staying there for now LOL
I can appreciate this. Yeh, run it awhile. Think about it. Tear it down and do a little something else to it. Or a lot something else. There's good folks in here that have experience with it and can give pointers, timing numbers............... There's also a few that have only read about it and have done jack but want to tell you how it's done. You'll figure out who's who.

Been there. Recently went too far and got .060 of freeport and thought I'd be starting over. Was told by the pros that know it wouldn't affect anything. They were right. I will say the high squish high compression combo you've got is "interesting".
