Just buy a bar to fit a large stihl (880 etc). drill out tensioner hole and a new oiler hole. Very easy, will post a pic when I get home tonight of an arbortech bar I just did.
As for shorter bars, milling they are unreal on my logosol. 10 tooth .325 24" HAMMERS through even aussie woods.

Still the 166 will be versing 60"+ burl on the weekend, all things going well. ie I can get that darn clutch off to change the sprocket.
As for decomp, no luck finding a titan cylinder head yet to check.
With the proper tool the clutches come right off. The tool has
two pins that fit into the square holes and a hex head on it for
a wrench or impact gun.
Pulled the cylinder off the 166 and ported the exhaust a little, left intake stock. Intake is huge compared to other saws.

Now, the clutch is still stuckdespite having made a tool with very tight tolerances.

Very hard steel turned on lathe (slowly!), riveted into a plate and bolt tapped and riveted in place for undoing.
Think will have to heat it up with a propane torch, might help it come free..

They can get pretty tight as they are a threaded clutch.
You turning it top to the right? Hit it lightly with an
impact gun. It should come off.
JFI out of that thread link.
Dolmar 166 flywheel removal tool.
I found out that the POLY flywheel removal tool for the stihl 066 660 will work. It is the same threads as the dolmar 166 flywheel since I owned both saws.![]()
