That yellow one looks like a Super Pro 85, one of the Magnificent 7 made for McCulloch, but even if not, it's a very interesting catch!
Do you know anything about her history?

Several years ago I was making a trip to Australia, I posted over on AS asking about shops I might visit, etc. and Gumnuts (Graham Cherry) told me about Ace Saw Shop in the Melbourne area. I did get to stop and see them several times in the proceeding years.



On the same trip I was able to meet up with Graham one Sunday morning in the parking lot of the hotel where I was staying, he couldn't let me leave without some kind of souvenir so he gave me the 133/SP85.



On the same trip, another friend and I were visiting his neighbor and talking about McCulloch chainsaws, and he noted he had an old McCulloch in a tool shed. Eventually both saws made it to me back here in Iowa.



Even though they weren't really McCulloch saws, I was not the least bit disappointed.



Both saws work as they should, I've done some actual firewood harvesting with both, but now they reside in the museum display.

Now I get it. The yellow one IS the SP85, for which you brought another 113 still in shrink wrap!

Nice story and apparently very successful trips to Australia.

That SP118 makes me quite a bit jealous

Here’s another fun one. Red tops are less common than black tops, at least for me,, so I had the opportunity to make one.

This started its life as a Makita EA7301, heated handle. I had an NOS 7900 top end, and @Wilhelm sent me some new red covers for it.

Now it’s a heated handle 7900 red top. Muffler is correct for this version top end as well, and got a muffler mod while I was at it.

Looks like a Dolmar with a Bavarian twist. A buddy of mine picked this up recently. The tag under the clutch cover is blank with the numbers 93 309 stamped on it.

The city Superintendent brought is a similar saw a few years ago. They use it for cutting frozen turf when preparing a grave site in the winter months among other things.

That is a yellow dolmar 309. Are you going to convert it over to a chainsaw or keep it as a chopsaw?

He would like to convert it, but the list of parts needed and availability may nix that. I am sure it would need an oil pump, clutch drum, chain brake system, spike bar, etc.

Check the crankshaft/conrod before searching parts to convert it.

Most of this bts 11 have a bosh ignition with limiter.

Piston rings, piston and cylinder are also failure prone on these due the extremely dusty conditions they worked in.
The Wacker BTS-11 is a relabelled SACHS-DOLMAR 309 which in turn is based on the SACHS-DOLMAR 123 power head but with
a couple of different parts.
