So I got the new clutch cover and chip deflector for the 7910. As I was installing the chain tensioner, I noticed I'm missing a washer and the little end nut. Dag Nabbit! Either it was missing from the get-go, or I have misplaced them....somewhere in the garage...... Ugh. I suppose if they now reside at the Island of Misplaced Parts, I could fabricate the nut out of some scrap steel and find some sort of washer that fits.

That's to bad. They might be hard to find. That would be great if you could make what you need.

Good evening fellas. Any of you know if replacement 7300 pistons are available? OEM preferred, but AM would work if needed.

Edit: I just realized there is a Duke’s offering, so that would probably be my AM pick.

HLSupply had 50mm AM pistons too, don't know whether they still stock them.

My beloved workhorse, Dolmar PS-550.

Looks like I ought to find me one too.
Always had the impression of her being a plastic-saw like all other concurrent saws but then,
in a few years it will be the final construction of the famous DOLMAR brand...

But while dreaming of saws to become collector's items (or not) I added an early specimen of one of
my all-time favourites: Dolmar 115 in her very early incarnation of 1987.
I have owned a couple of modern 115 saws (and still have one 115i and a 115 NIB) but never thought
of wanting a 1980s one.
But now that DOLMAR has ceased to exist I thought better and bought myself a 115 of 1987:

Considering her age, the saw is in a very good shape, only piston has seized up but a good replacement I do have in stock.

You do realize that this is a "hybrid"!?
Plastic outer shell but Magnesium (I think!) crankcase halves and classic non-clamshell cylinder.

Come to think of it, why has no one ported one of these yet?!

Looks to mee everyone does this design-pattern for their non-consumer range of of saws
I pick my PS-550 over any other I own under 64cc, and she holds her ground keeping up closely with my PS-6400.
Sure, she is a little bit slower.
Though she is well balanced and very well mannered.
Fuel consumption is exceptional (100% stock).

I've got a 1987 115 as well. It's in pieces as we speak though.

For the collectors out there that might be looking for a shelf queen. Not mine! If it were it would not be sold.

Brand new Makita DCS9010.
