That would make a climbing saw!
Get one!
I found this one "locally" 10 minutes drive from my home.
A coworker mentioned "My neighbor is selling a Dolmar chainsaw." and I was all like "Yeah, well give me his phone number!".

Cute little thing.
Won't see much use in my ownership but I feel she is a worthy addition to my collection! :)

I may utilize my small and mid size saws more often if they weren't all set up with semi chisel chains.
Semi chisel feels so underwhelming I almost hate it.

I should convert to full chisel on all saws, but then again I have spare new semi chisel loops in stock and I need to spend those.
Ugh! o_O

Semi while not being the fastest is more foregiving regarding dirty wood ..Like yourself I prefer chisel however on occasion you need a "root cutter " so I have few loops set aside for just that job .I might add they are pretty much worn out already .

I keep these for that special "last job", loops worn down way past the witness mark, hung up once teeth start bending and or breaking.
Even if I fully retire 2-3 of these loops to remove one stump sub lawn level it was worth keeping them.

True, semi chisel will get You a couple more bucking cuts in dirty skidded logs compared to full chisel - but I prefer Stihl Rapid Duro 3 in that case!

Give stihl rm a try if you can get a good deal. Cuts plenty fast and stay sharp long unless you stuff it in the ground.

I got some, same as any other semi chisel!
Not saying it is a bad chain, but definitely nothing special either.
For the price I rather deal with sharpening full chisel more often.

I've been looking for a 3410TH but, they are a little hard to come by over here. I did find one but it sold before I got to it. I'd take a 3400TH as well.

Out for her yearly run. Saw has less than 2 tanks on it. I really dig the 7900 and 7300 old school dolmars.
I use pretty much all full chisel even though I should use semi more. I am convinced the sand grows in the bark around here...I have beach sand for soil and especially the pine beetle kill pine really puts a hurting on the chain with full. Oh well i guess I just gotta file a bit more....lol.
The new husky xcut really impresses me out of the box....

Do you fellas know if the Zama c3m HE11 carburetor is normal on a 6400-7900? I’ve got a 6400 here with an HD 12 walbro in it. Nozzle is toast.

I think the zama is factory the walbro choke hole is probably bigger is the biggest difference I have seen with the walbros

I use the cheap husky 365 knock offs on mine and have never had a problem. I take the choke shaft out and weld and redrill the hole for the choke linkage then they are good to go. But I know some people don't like aftermarket parts.
