I was trying to order a couple of short circuit switches, ( on off switch) for 430 -520, 115, 6000i etc, I'm told NLA,
I tried part number 965 605 400 and 957 605 112, can anybody offer an alternative part number or replacement idea's?
Thank you in advance
This switch?

Just weighed a Dolmar 111. 5.3kg or 11.7 pounds dry. No bar or chain. The specs say 4.5kg or 9.9 pounds? How does that work? What all do they take off to get that weight? That's almost 2 pounds difference.!

Emtpy tanks, clean PH, may have gained weight during later production and they didn't alter the specs.

Do you think the Sachs Dolmar would be lighter?

The tanks are empty and the powered is clean.

Does it really matter?
It's not like a grown man will notice the difference.
And it is a dying brand now anyway so why beat it to death with hair splitting notions?!

It is not a model that I own personally so I can't check nor do I have experience with it.
My best guess is the initially released units weighed as advertised and somewhere down the production road modifications and/or alterations made the saw heavier.
As long as the modifications contributed to reliability it is actually an advantage in my book!

The earlier 111 with the red top and single mount brake flag were lighter, I was working on both an 111 and a 520 ( same as last 111) and the 111 is lighter even by feel, I noticed as I was working on it and purposely picked both up as I was curios! Was not so bothered as to go and get scales out and weigh them! Great saw the 111, excellent balance, good power and torque, well ahead of their time IMO

I understand about the weight and a full grown man not being a problem. My deal is. I bought the saw because it was supposed to be lighter than another model.

Plus, it's was supposed to be lighter than the 026. I was trying to get a older saw that beat the 026 in the weight department. The saw feels light. The weight is not a problem. The problem is it's not what I expected. There's other Dolmar models I would have considered had I know there weight weren't what they claimed.

Check out the teal ones, I think the DCS510 is about what You are looking for?
I didn't really pay much attention, took a quick look.
The DCS510 is about a pound heavier than the 111 I have. The DCS4300 is about a pound lighter than the 111.

The DCS4300 is even light than the 026!? That was a surprise. The lighter the saw, the better for climbing.

Dolmar PS-311TH (Maruyama), IIRC fully fuelled, nearly worn out chain
