Darn you Wilhelm!
I am the Croatian Dolmar saviour! :)
I wish I could save them all, but I can not. :(

Considering how the 24" bar looks like the previous owner doesn't know nor care what a sharp chain is.
This is the first used saw I purchased with a brand bar (Dolmar/Oregon) raped to death.

If I hadn't saved this beauty she may have met a grimm end illegaly felling trees for a quick coin or the likes.
In my ownership she will see the occasional 36" B&C action bucking firewood logs and "play" cuts.
Idling and pissrewing will also happen.
All in all that doesn't sound too bad of a life, no?!

You help saving Dolmar saws on Your side of the pond! ;)

but it seems you are giving a good try
I got a glimpse at her big jug in one of her Facebook pictures and couldn't resist, and who'd want to really. :D
This PS-9010 is a 2014. purchased 2019., had only one previous owner.

Many, many more good deals to be had in Germany - mostly no one wants to ship to Croatia. :(

Anybody knows what is happening with the Oregon?
In Hungary the official dealers saying, in this year 2022! guide bars will not be available!
This year! Unbelievable!

May be some kind of manufactoring problem or just EU distribution?

Tell them to ship to the us
The US is ramping up shipping regulations, at least for shipping from Croatia to the US - it is a pain in the bπtt.
Also, I am no longer welcome at the Post Office (COVID-19 BS).

I do not know about shipping from Germany to the US!

First word for me on that matter.
Best get some spares, eh?!
Carlton is good, so is Husqvarna, GB.

Last resort would be Stihl :crybaby2:

Carlton is Blount brand, Same as Oregon. Thereforer same problem,I am afraid.
HQ is excellent of course but at lest 20% more expensive.
GB is great too but far as I know the origin Autralian GB is closed. ( correct me if I am wrong)

Do you know Grube webshop (german origin, but we have in Hungary) ?
The grube has left over GB stock on good price. I bought all my GB bars from Grube.

I did not know GB is dead or dying!

I got my 36" Iggesund Forest bar from grube.de.
I noticed GB bars were extremely well priced on sale at grube, didn't pull the trigger and missed the oportunity.
Iggesund is also gone from grube.

Right now I have more bars than saws, that kinda makes me not worry too much about bar supply issues.
I also have yet to wear out my first brand bar, the one and only AM bar I ever purchased wasn't worth the effort nor money.

Few years ago I had direct connection with Iggesund. We have tested the new developed chainsawbar types ang chains with Hungarian logger teams....It was a grat time with plenty of experiance.

If your not using Stihl chain, then your missing out Wilhelm. It is some of the best available on the market.

I run Stihl RS, RD3 and PD3!
The carbide chains impressed me, but the RS flopped in two pitches .325" & 3/8".
Even if I were to like RS, it is not better than Oregon full chisel (my favorite, LGX, Vanguard, EXL, Dolmar 099) and therefore not worth the inflated price they are asking for it here!

I know You are a Stihl guy and that is perfectly fine, but not everything Stihl is worth the premium they are charging!
People need to realize this so Stihl comes down off their high horse.

Never gonna happen! Stihl has done a great job marketing to the consumer base, the largest customer for their products.

I am a hands down Oregon EXL guy. I think the newer Husqvarna C83 better though.

Luckily, for now I can still choose - we will see how that will go in another decade or so.

I have a X-Cut loop that I need to try, looks good to the eye and feels sharp to the thumb.

I have Oregon EXL, LGX, Husqvarna C83, and Stihl. They are all excellent. They outcut all other chain. To me, you get what you pay for. The premium chain stays sharper longer and last longer. The cheap chain cuts, but not even in the same league as the premium chain.

I don't even mess with anything less than Oregon. I have better things to do! :D
