With the upcoming demise of manufacturing I thought I would grab some spare parts for my saws. I am only a casual firewood user (camping) mainly. I have a EA4300 and a DCS6401->7901. In the past 10 years the only parts I have used are a filter and brake band.

I was thinking of grabbing the following, let me know if you think more or less would be more appropriate.

EA4300 - Coil, Brake band, Filter, Primer, Clutch Drum
DCS7901 - Coil, Brake band, Filter.

What coil P/N ? Google tells me
Ignition Coil Red 038143042

Hmmm......:)
Your English definitely better than mine, but the word "purdy" in my dictionary is not a compliment.
purdy means: cocky, boastful...

But sorry.....if I misunderstand.

You're all good here!

Purdy is slang in American English for pretty.

Beautiful, good looking, and so on.

You must remember that You are on an American/English forum.
When in doubt search Google "meaning of ####". ;)

In what language is "purdy" a not so nice word in, Hungarian? o_O

Darn you Wilhelm! Thats a sweet saw. I am curious what you picked it up for.

It always seems everyone wants a mint for them.
She was priced "for sale" so yes I think it was a price well worth the six hour trip both ways.
The 24" B&C is toast, but I believe I can restore the rusty 28" bar.
I gave the saw a quick check up, she is in good condition overall. I may replace some parts just to accomodate my OCD.
I got lucky on this one, I have seen the for sale ad within 20 minutes from it getting posted.
Then I got lucky again as the saw did not sell within the first 24 hours.

Yes, these saws seem to hold a good coin.
As long as they are mechanically sound and one needs/wants one they are worth it though.
