The above reminds me of this one:

My PS-6100 with Oregon Powermatch 20" bar. I used that one very few times when I had to cut strong lumber
not having a bigger/stronger saw. B&C have been sold since bigger saws are here, the 6100 is still here, well and kickin'.

And as this thread seem to need some bumping:

New arrival these days:

hobby-101_reartop.jpg

hobby-101_fronttop.jpg

SACHS-DOLMAR 101 hobby as parts supply for other Poulan micros.

So I could have posted this in the Poulan thread but brand loyalty kept me from doing so.

The 101 however is mainly intended to supply parts for this little bugger:

Yet another Poulan micro in my tiny collection.
Should I rather have posted this post in the Poulan thread?

Usually 45 cm. The 63 cm / 20" was special use only.
63cm is more like a 25", if that's what it was then I agree - not what the 6100 is designed for.

I have a 50cm/20" on mine, she handles it well being a MMWS.
On a stock 6100 I imagine I'd like a 40cm/16" to 45cm/18" better. :)

I have a 50cm/20" on my XS5000, it is not a very good match - Kevin ground and lathed too much of the cylinder off and she is now nose heavy with that B&C setup.
I am considering to fill the area between the cylinder fins with lead to regain balance. :D

I absolutely agree, my memory did play tricks on me: The bar in question was a 248RNDK095 that is 24" not 20".
And the 6100 isn't designed to handle this length on a regular basis, but it can, provided you are cautious and
let the saw find its own speed thru the wood. Even Dolmar offers a 63cm bar for the 6100.

BTW: The 24" bar has been sold 2 years ago, since in the meantime I have saws designed to handle that length, only back in 2015 I hadn't.

Yes, haven't found one yet. P/N me for details please.
I don't think AJ knows what a "Persoenliche Nachricht" is, You might wanna ask him to send You a "Personal Message - PM". ;)

Having multiple languages in Your head can be a bit©h, right!? :)

How is the German chainsaw forum?
Haven't logged in there in a long while, just don't have the time to track stuff on multiple places.

Is there a link to the German forum? The search engines do not give me anything but this site and arboristsite. I even tried Deutsche Kettensaege forum as a query.

Oh, somehow couldnt remember an oil line lol.
Well, thats a funky way to conduct it.
If the pump dies You suck oil out of the pickup line and then spit it back into the outlet line.
The exposed lines grant easy access.
