That might be a little narrow of a view. Probably true, Makita's market share (including all brands)
in OPE has apparently been minimal in North America, that is not that extreme in other markets.

I'm just going on what I observe here. Kentucky has a very healthy OPE market, Echo/Stihl/Husky always have plenty of dealers and customers. Dolmar, of course, never came close to them in popularity but certainly had a presence. Most counties had at least one or two Dolmar dealers right up to the end, none of them switched over to Makita when the Dolmar brand was dropped. The only places I am aware of where one can walk into a shop and walk out with a Makita saw are some places that have always carried Makita for rentals, and I suspect this is because of Makita's solid presence in the construction trades and tool rentals. I don't know how popular Makita OPE is overseas, but I would think that Echo/Stihl/Husky would be keen to zip up other markets as they have here, and nor would Makita have any special tricks to counter them.

I may have a spare, gotta check my OEM sticker stash.

IIRC that sticker wasn't too affordable when I got them for @Black Dog Chainsaw , also shipping costs will likely match or exceed the value of a single sticker.
Just a fair warning.

I personally ignore expenses when it comes to purchasing something I really want.

Let me know I don't mind. It's only money, I can't take it with me.

Close your eyes if your a Stihl fan
No surprise there whatsoever!

It took Stihl 2 decades to make a saw perform close to or as well as the Dolmar PS-7900.
With modern technology and materials, as well as tighter tolerances the 500i should be able to run circles around the old school PS-7900 - it doesn't!

Dolmar, the saw to own with pride without having to sell Your kidneys.
