Last time I checked, stickers were NLA for even the very last USA market Dolmar saws that are still sold new in other countries. I swear, Makita is trying to erase even the memory of the Dolmar brand.
The last batch of 6800's made for the US market was produced in 1997. Its been a while...

Hm, thinking of..

Early 117 and 119 may be exception and sport a metal cast recoil, I don't know since I don't have one.
Early 120 possibly too, at least they have metal cylinder & carb hoods.

Yes they where defiantely metal recoil and top covers
The replacements from Dolmar where plastic and metal depending on what stock the dealer held

Full ACK!

for me, it depends on, I try to combine orders and when it comes to issues, where Detlev
isn't an option, and I can combine Dolmar orders with other suppliers I'll go e.g
bbti.de. They have a remarkably good database and search facility where you can
enter an NLA Dolmar part-no and they'll usually answer with the replacement number if any.
"ACK" ??? o_O

No combining for me, I have to keep shipping to Croatia in mind.
Do whatever works best for You, I am good with one reliable source. ;)

I started a list of model decals. Here is what I have so far.

All these numbers are in the Makita USA parts system right now. The only one backordered is the PS-421 Recoil Decal

That's strange, last time I checked they were not available for my 5105. Good to know!

You're very welcome Nathan.
Everything but the box looks OK. :)

This dragged out a little longer than expected, but the target has been reached.

Thank You for Your patience and understanding Nathan.

Cheers :beer-toast1:

@166 can You confirm the validity of the following part numbers, or supply an Makita DCS6800i IPL:
- Makita DCS6800i starter assembly sticker/decal part # 980 114 094
- Makita DCS6800i clutch cover sticker/decal part # 980 114 260

Finding a downloadable DCS6800i IPL is like looking for a needle in a hay stack.

Is that a clutch cover for a teal 6100?
No!
That is a clutch cover for the teal Makita EA5600 which can be effortlessly modded to fit the Makita EA6100 additionally allowing to upgrade the 6100 with OEM dual spikes!

There is a whole thread on this topic!
For whatever reason it never really took off as well as Sondre and I expected it would.

I loved it! So much so @AlfA01 help @Ayetee61 @RI Chevy and me get a cover for are Dolmars. I added a husky roller catcher to mine. Very nice set up, plus I think it gives it that look reminiscent of an old CT.

- Makita DCS6800i starter assembly sticker/decal part # 980 114 094
Confirmed, its a non model-specific sticker for both 6000 and 6800
- Makita DCS6800i clutch cover sticker/decal part # 980 114 260
Confirmed as well: 980 114 260 is for DCS6800i,
980 114 259 is for DCS6000i
