I can see hardly any differences between the 122-120 super and the 113-116 chassis, if chassis means crank-case. Clutch side is
interchangeable and magnet might differ by small nuances. It is noticeable however that the 116 super does NOT build on the
116 si -PS-6800i crankcase.
Plastic tank may however been inherited from 113-116, the claims to be a kind of a 116, doesn't she?
BTW. What are the differences between Wildcat and stock 116 other than the label placed on the clutch cover?
I will answer these question when I look this saw through. I definitely plan to carefully document my findings because, as it was noted before:
No information, no part lists, no technical documentation exists at DOLMAR's so this is an unexpected
chance to shed some light on a saw that is mostly unknown and undocumented.
--Edit- The plastic recoil cover is no surprise, all the 112 - 120 have it, even the very early
112 and 114 of the late 1970s.
The wildcat was realeased in 1985-1986 it was defiantely a 116 it had a Walbro carb cant remember which Model and most of it’s parts weren’t interchangeable with the 112 114 117 120 And 120 super its parts started with 119
That’s why I was asking those 50cc too 68cc Saws where split into three groups
113 116 —- 112 114 117 120 120super —- 116si 120si
All ignitions where diffferent in each group
Side covers where different fitment owing too flywheels and clutch drums
Top covers and filters and top base units where different too house the three types of filters issued
All the above statements are for U.K. saws and from dealer not after
Owners been chasing things around
Also no parts list or details for the wildcat
