What did You expect using a "fade" contaminated Husqvarna bar on a pure bred Dolmar!?
Hmm , I never look at saws that small in displacement - maybe I should!?EA3601F
Dolmar version is the PS-352
I didn’t realise how much colour fading there is on my 2017 115

So, the 115 is the Super XL or Mac 10-10 of Dolmar. The old workhorse that outlived many would-be replacements!

You infected the Dolmar 115 with the fade illness!

I think the politically correct term these days is “color diversity.”Don't call it color fading, call it color variation or color richness!
If it bothers you that much just send it to me and I’ll dispose of it properly.

Love the Black/Red color scheme.
In a way yes, the 115 has been an old workhorse maybe not surviving its younger predecessors but coexisting with them.
And in some way it resembles the VW beetle, which has been produced decades after its expected decease. And like the beetle,
there are little to none parts of the 115 that haven't been changed during the course of production.
I found the new 2019 DOLMAR product-catalog on the german website these days. The following petrol saws
are no longer included (although they are still listed on the website, but Makita's webmasters are known to a little slow):
PS-222
115
PS460 (has anybody an idea what this one was good for?)
PS4605 (same)
