I was thinking the same thing.Glad to see there is a cute Miss Dolmar for 2019. I am sad that she is holding two battery saws!

You need a red cylinder cover for Your saw.I bought this 7900 about 4 years ago it was on a lewis winch.
Here it is wearin a 28 bar, in fir. Asplundh was clearing dead trees by the power line.
About a 5 minute drive and if ya done get em quick they are gone.
Saw may have 8 tanks thru it now. This is the middle of the tree, I got the butt previously.

These days I managed to close a wide yawning gap in my tiny collection:
Sachs-Dolmar 105 'Black & White' in remarkable good shape for a remarkable
good price:

In case you don't know - There were 4 models produced as 'Black & White' special edition saws late 1985 for about 4 months:
Sachs-Dolmar 105
Sachs-Dolmar 108
Sachs-Dolmar 110 - the only Sachs-Dolmar saw with white plastic parts
Sachs-Dolmar 112.
The latter three I already had on my shelves, the 105 missing until now.
Color coding chainsaws failed with the Makita takeover!Regarding the discussion concerning the right hood-color for a 7900:
I don't agree. IMHO the orange-red hoods look much inferior than the black ones, resembling the low end Sachs-Dolmar 112
which also was completely orange and inferior to its sibling 114 which had a little bit more power and, as an eye-candy a black
air-filter cover (later models had all black hoods).
She's a beauty!about a month later, the 105 is ready and running:

This one is the best preserved of all my Black&White saws, just need a decent SACHS-DOLMAR chain-bar for it.
Tru, as it turn out, its just a matter of taste if you prefer orange hoodies or black ones.Color coding chainsaws failed with the Makita takeover!
Nowadays a red or black cover is no longer determining quality class.
She's a beauty!
Gorgeous!Tru, as it turn out, its just a matter of taste if you prefer orange hoodies or black ones.
I for one like the black ones better.
Yes and this is her larger sister:
