Just had to know exactly what you needed or you got the wrong part. My manual for for Sears 2.3-14 aka 2300av is the same way on some of its ipl part numbers.

Steve on Tapatalk

Not what I meant Steve. The info I retrieved on the model was on the Sears Parts Direct website.

Guess this means I can build a couple more 505 2083 54mm if I like now.

Now I have seen two of the oem 2 ring pistons for them. Always want to compare them for kicks.
Also have used a 66 piston in them before too. But little different specs and have to open pin bosses up.

I always sold the 20's off myself too. The neat one of those is the red white blue 76 labeled one.

Which Poulan is this guys? I picked up 5 saws today. Cad is strong with this one and I don't even burn wood for heat or work as a tree anything. Just like me some saws and the occasional property maintenance / storm damage. Anyway, the saw in the pictures is from a friends dad who stopped using it 3 years ago due to age and health. Left with fuel in but it's not fully spoiled. Hopefully it will start with fresh fuel. Came with the Stihl case. It was only used to cut up fallen branches from storms in his yard.

It's the same as a 3300 iirc

Sears Best so I think it might be a 335 @ 54cc. I would like to find one. The diff is a bare cylinder on the 3300 and a chrome plated cylinder on the 335.

Cut4fun would know for sure. I would hate to have to find that saw in the undergrowth on a dark day.

Nice find Egg Shooter.

I think you may have found the best of the last, or maybe I'm dyslexic.
Regardless, that is a nice saw!
I just bought one of the same Poulan 3300s wearing Sears Clothes.
Since both Poulan and Sears are now defunct, lets both pay our respects to a couple of great entrepeneures by making these things whole again in a race. First one to finish their saw and post footage of it cutting wood gets a cookie. Not saying what kind of cookie, maybe the one you just cut.

Most black and gold 3.3 I have see and had others check theirs has been bare bore with chrome piston. Never know might have a chrome bore on there. But till you check wont know what you have. Grey 3.3 is bare bore too.
These are like 3300

Now the black blue 3.3 have been 100% chrome bore and bare pistons for me to date. They are like the predator 335 in red. Not the yellow 335's.

Was comparing some poulan 54mm pistons. Some old ones pulled from past saws and some of the new nos and used ones that came in.

Got alittle surprise. Front piston that came in a saw in the past turned out to be aftermarket. Had oem circlips, oem wrist pin, caber ring. Least they were smart enough to do all of that.

As you can see the skirts are freaking so thick on that afm one.

I have not had one of those in my hands. Not sure if sold here? It looks spot on for 100 Hobby just no decals. I did work in Poulan , mac, & homelite shop during 70’s to mid 80’s but never had any dolmars come in for parts.

Maybe place your picture of that saw in the dolmar thread under brand specific & get some Sachs dolmar guys input?

Ok fellas....not sure if this is the craftsman version of the Poulan 20D, a Dolemar or an orange Poulan? Pics show serial. Runs like a watch but won't oil. Surprised it don't seem to lean out with that open pulse hole. I'm sure the carb is adjusted to help make up for it. Came from a saw "repair" shop. That service manual download showed me the way to fix and best of all, what the parts look like, so I snagged it up.

This site has bunch of collectors. Could be the craftsman but reminds me of the hobby on the starter side. Sill poulan made saw for them. http://www.chainsawcollectors.se/phpbb3/index.php?sid=c2cd102f5201bad43e555f2004a7abb3

Kevin,
Something interesting that you may not have. It's a Poulan list (from Poulan) of the rebrands. It's likely not complete but also gives a lot of the European models. I don't see the Dolmar hobby on the list but we know it should be. The are certainly a bunch of rebrands I've never heard of.

PDF file attached.
