Are the 60cc saws open port just like the 54cc are?

Was there a different air filter designed for the high top saws? Or did they share the same filters

Some of you know I have been on NOS parts search this winter at ole dealers etc.

I only buy the series saws I am interested in and dont even bother with the others.

When I seen the pic of these NOS poulan pro clutch covers I said to myself. These are going to be the metal ones. I had only seen the front side not the back. But if you look at the difference of the bar stud area you can see the difference in these and the plastic normal covers we see. 415-505

So I have 1 used metal yellow and 2 NOS metal yellow.

Didnt know these kits were even out there. Nobody I know into these saws ever heard of it either.
I was looking for a 505 worm gear for a member on my chainsaw repair site that has been looking for one forever.

How to updated your 475 415 metal worm gear to the updated parts like on the 505 etc.

NOS worm gears, pto crankcase seals, sleeves, oilers, drums, etc etc I found. 1 set shown. They also work on the 505 etc. ;)

Does anyone know the correct carb settings, or should I say setting, on a Poulan 20, 20D carb? Thanks.

Almost all the Poulans of that vintage, 1 turn out to start. I usually go around 1-1/8.

I would like to find a nice full wrap for a 5200/5400/8500 saw. I will trade my very nice 1/2 wrap, or pay cash. Pm me if you can help.

Poor pictures, but it's a super 33. My question is what the hell is this filter made from and how should I clean it?

Also, what carb kit do I need?

One more, where can I get a piston for this 365?

I think the air filter is a Skinner Ribbon element AF. Can'r help you on the cleaning but most of the old Poulans and Homelites used them.

The carb is likely a Tillotson HL. Check the carb number on the gasket flange (top left side) and check the kit number on the Tillotson site.

Ultrasonic was suggested for the filter. That carb is definitely a Tilly, I'll have to dismantle it to see which one.

I had it running on a prime, that sucker is loud with the open stack
