Glad it's worked well for you. I know it's listed as gas resistant when cured but it turned into goo and leaked on a pin hole leak in my rear fuel tank and I've never had any luck what so ever with it with anything structural. It's really not asking much of JB weld or any other epoxy to fill a port. The shape holds it in place and all the forces it's holding up against are vibration and airflow with a little heat and a little fuel.

I've never had JB ever get soft after it sets up ever. But I'm pretty cautious on how I mix .

@Deets066

What were your thoughts on adding the cylinder wall side transfer grooves? Added volume, reduced velocity or trying to change direction of transfer flow more upward into the cylinder? I've never seen that before.

Not the finger ports.

Someone was looking at my pictures.....

@Deets066

LOL
I did get the bridges from you, but after a few cocktails... and ya grind bridges on the exhaust side..... Lol.:facepalm:

Fingers were added later, notice how they look better than all the rest of the grinding

Maybe it's just me, but I think it would be nice if jb came in the twin tube syringe with the mixing tip. Yeah you loose a little product but I like them.
Steven

Yes it would be. Getting a 50/50 mix is the key to proper curing. Too much white jb crap and the s-word won't set up and harden. Also preheating the intended repair area, if metal, is helpful for good adhesion(still should be clean). It does make it less viscous though. Maybe 150-180 degrees? Hell, I don't know. Mix it 40:1 and call it a day.
