Finally got started making hay a few days ago and the fields are so wet.. I guess I only took a few pictures.

Steve, damn nice hay, you need a disc mower for that!!

This machine is payed for!

You know what I like about my disc mower? Not looking back to make sure it ain't clogged up.

Only clogged it once in 15 acres! We can can live with that!

I was able to visit with one of my brothers at a family dinner today, he said his FIL was down under 200 acres of corn left.... From last year.... . I thought they were done but apparently not, they have bean planting beans right after combining last years corn. No wonder he drinks so much. He said it is standing remarkably well in most places. There is an operation in the area that farms 10k-12k acres & they are still pulling anhydrous & planting corn. No idea how they work that with crop insurance & gov’t programs but I’m sure it’s all on the “up & up” & completely legit.

She likes going to the field with me, but the cab’s on those internationals aren’t very friendly for extras....

It's never bad to remember the dangers. Kids love tractors, and it's our job to keep them safe.

Just finished putting 5 beds of carrots and 2 beds of beets in. The carrots are 4 rows per bed, beets are 3 rows.

Anyone trying the hemp thing! Few guys are trying it here! I don't know! Could be another scheme like emus or ostriches! A few at the top get it all. We shall see!

They tried it over here a few years gone quiet now around here
Like you say another scheme like the others

Most have gone back to wheat and barley, power stations are taking a lot of straw
And there payments are index linked and they take straw with high moisture content so the big farmers are just baling right after the combine even if the weather is catchy
