Much easier for old crippled people like me to hook it up to the tractor, I only have to set the jack stand down and pull the pin and unhook one hydraulic hose. Only takes a few seconds, as compared to trying to hook it up to the 3 point hitch every time. Plus I can hook it to any tractor that I want without a problem. It is also much easier for a lower H P tractor to pull it. And I can pull it on the road with my truck Which is a big plus for me!
60 some on that block. It was the worst we had. There’s more in other areas but at this point we are gonna kill it and plant beans. I had planted that farm 100 acre and it rained 8 inches starting that night. It rained for a week it just couldn’t come up. That’s good ground that drains well. How many acres got drowned?
Nice Allis.

Good to see you got your mower loaded.
In short yes. Corn won’t dry down around here when it gets planted late. So you get less money for it. It also doesn’t reach its full potential as far as how many kernels on each ear. That’s a half assed explanation. It’s more scientific than that but I’m not that smart.I guess beans will yeild more this late in the game? I'm just a hay hacker! Don't have any experience with crops.
Delaware Kent county near HarringtonWhere are you farming Jake? If you don't mind.
Looks like toast, ( Damn !! )
