So, the 5700 hours on my 2640 is not a big deal?
Our 2555 had 16000 on it when I sold it. Still ran good. Only sold it because the electric system on it was a nightmare.

My old machine was parked for a few years it seems. Stored indoors, but still not a great thing. It just suffered a PTO clutch failure.......and the head gasket needs to be replaced.......and the water pump is leaking. I'm willing to go the distance with it though. I really like the old girl.
Sitting can be hard on them. & keep your rpms at 15000 or higher if your working it or you'll get good at changing head gaskets.
Use it some. Then we can discuss hours. Nah *s-word I lie. Keep her oil changed and she’ll be there for youThe old girl sure pulls good.

No , just getting broke in!! I have 6,430 hours on a 2003 model 5420 4 wheel drive. And 2640 hours+ on a 2004 model 5320 4 wheel drive John Deere. Both are the power reverse models.
1969 3020 power shift, 18,000 + hours and one engine overall, trans, still working good. Can't beat the old 8 speed power shift trans.
I used to run one of those sticks on the front of a 1486. I had to take it on and off to go down the road it was a 20 foot poleView attachment 158207 View attachment 158208 Plus one! Love this tractor, Bought it in 1979. It does nothing now but pull the disc mower. And the disc.
Those old allies chalmers planters are still good planters with all the correct plates. We used to save seed and them old things could plant soybeans that weren’t even recleaned. Pods would even pass through
