Probably should invest and make it a racer.
Funny you say racer. Turns out he is a retired hot rod machinist...used to build 3000+hp engines from billlets. 2000fp torque...truck pull motors, mainly. He has quite a shop at his place, still

The big chain is full comp, chip, 3/8...carbide 🤪
I'll most likely make a couple 24" chains out of it and switch the tip to 404.
Muffler will get a 2nd port and I'll swap on a wrap handle but that's probably all I'll do to it

Well with all due respect that is impossible to answer. I will tell you that in this area they are not worth a penny. Coyotes are vermin and have zero value as a hide. We have a 365 day hunting season on them. We are allowed to night hunt with thermal imaging during the trapping season which is November 10-February 15. It is possible a fur buyer might give you a couple bucks for one that was trapped .....thus not had it's guts blown out with a AR-15 like those pictured. You would have to stretch and dry it though. Awhile back there was a guy on this site wanting a full round jaw #4 or #5 coil spring to use as a doorbell. I tried explaining that those basically were never made. The full rounds are only in smaller ones. I searched out what I could and spoke with a lot of folks in Canada and the northern part of the USA. I found one guy in Conrod MT that builds large round coils. In my conversations I heard that up north the coyotes actually have value but of course they are nothing like the vermin we have here.

I overheard a couple old timers at the gas station talking about fur prices on the rise, making it worthwhile to dust off the traps, but everyone else I asked laughed and said no way is that true.

Rise from what................. :confundio1:
In the 1977-78 season (100) top coon brought in enough Dad bought a brand new shiny red F-150 4x4 in June 1978.
The truck is still in the shed.

I stand corrected....them extra 2 inches are a plus :)

I spent three years teaching woods in two separate school districts. In the morning the district I was in had a uni-fence on theirs. In the afternoon I drove 10 miles east to a school that had two sweet Delta/Rockwell saws. One had a 50/52" uni-fence and the other had a 50/52" Biesemeyer. I much preferred the Biesemeyer but the uni-fence was great also. One of the advantage of the Biesemeyer was the ability to run left of the blade without detaching it

I had used the Biesemeyers quite a lot working in in cabinet shops before I got this saw. I prefer the Uni, hands down. I have used the fence in ‘flat’ mode quite a bit cutting thin, small stock. Found this old Uni saw at a garage sale for $400 many years ago. It had been left outside and been rained on…with the base full of sawdust, oops. I completed stripped it down, replaced bearings, belts, had the cabinet sandblasted, repainted it and built folding tables that allowed for a small footprint in the garage when not in use. Now it goes back and forth as a table saw and a workbench for chainsaws 🤣
