Nothing wrong with buying a saw there if you know who you are buying it from. Ebay has lots of good sellers and buyers but like everything else you have to know what you're doing. When I buy from ebay I generally try to buy from people I've done business with before..

Nothing wrong with buying a saw there if you know who you are buying it from. Ebay has lots of good sellers and buyers but like everything else you have to know what you're doing. When I buy from ebay I generally try to buy from people I've done business with before..

I've bought tons of stuff on eBay and only every had one bad experience. I was referring to the price of complete saws on Craigslist.

Don't know if you can see but it's missing the tag. Rivets are there, but the tag is not. Seems strange for a new looking saw. Replacement case?

I would guess the tag was removed so that the rightful owner would have a harder time identifying it.

I would be looking this saw over very carefully. The bar looks new. Husky bars can get the paint scared off of them just by starting the saw so even a few cuts will show paint wear. I don't see any marring of the bar paint. If the saw was used three times, why no wear. Something seems amiss...

All of those flags are why I posted it. Even if it looked 100% on the up and up $650 is too much for me anyways.

I've noticed that on Husky bars. Husky is not too impressive with matching shades of orange either.

Sounds like my friend. He goes on an on on how much he loves his snap on tools. I always laugh when he still strips out a bolt or a nut and tell him "I thought that wasn't possible with a snap on" or "shouldn't snap on have healed that bolt?"
