I like this one better than the 036.
Others will look past it because of the crap on it, but it looks like it has a lot less hrs on it from what I can see.

I like this one better than the 036.
Others will look past it because of the crap on it, but it looks like it has a lot less hrs on it from what I can see.

Seems the collectability/ value has dropped on these 084's. I need an 084 like I need another hole in my head, but at $530 I couldn't help myself. Wasn't that long ago a nice looking 084 would fetch 1300+. Well bought Dustin. Full wrap too

Why, those creamsicles sell great .
Besides I own more than most stihlheads .
Here's some, there's a couple more in the basement and a 261cm vs II in the truck along with the stihl polesaw, they all have their place.
The dolmar and the 2171 are set up for the big nasty today, and the 346 is there for another job I may head to after the big nasty.

This one is actually for a customer of mine, he likes big saws, has a 066 and a 394. Wanted something bigger, for what I have no clue, this saw is said to have a new OEM top end, seemed like just what he was looking for, brand doesn't really matter to me, long as it gets the job done. 084 had a good reputation for being strong .
