Roswell? Must be an alien saw, explains the different flat top.
On other brand trimmers - there is a flexible square rod, thru the pole, that drives the head. Doubt a little bend will be trouble. Run it till it blows up.Will it hurt to run it like that
Bow is worth a good bit if it's not wore out. Anyone here like/collect bow saws? I picked up a Husky L65 runner with a bow in excellent shape. Meant to list it on Fleabay this weekend. Rather send it on to a member here than pay the fees..... PM me if interested pics are on this thread (i think) bout two weeks ago. I can send some directly if needed
o51 with a bow?
He's come down $100 since last week

I always wanted a 166. Met @cowroy at Masterminds GTG last year and we talked about his saw. Turns out we both talked to the seller he bought it from.....He made first contact and I missed out. One thing that really stuck with me, he said if he had to do it all over again he wouldn't have bought it. If you don't already have a nice stash of parts, you may have to wait (who know how long) to get it fixed up. Just like other huge modern saws most parts are specific to that saw. So I still want one? Hell yes! Maybe someday
Lee, How have you been? They are a fantastic saw with more power than there competitors in there time.
The bad is parts are near extinct. It's easier to find a complete saw than the parts
needed to fix one. I've been into these saws for over 15 years and have had many
in my hands and still own quite a few. Someone needs to grab this as it isn't a bad
buy.
