Going for the Countervibe? I figure that pile is worth somewhere in the $60 range. A good running rear handle Poulan only will bring about $50 to $60 in these parts. Just no desire. The only saws I've found that get much interest are the Stihls. Even Husqvarnas move slow around here. I have a number of Poulan saws that I just pretty much quit working on since there's no market for them. The top handle ones in good shape sell for about $50. So not worth messing with unless I need a truck saw or something. Although in my experience, I rarely find the Poulans burnt up. It's almost always fuel lines and carb work that they need. (and then a chain/bar servicing, etc)
I think that was a new one like a 3750, one of the last good ones. And yes the power of marketing definitely makes Stihls worth more on resale
