I'm too new in my chainsaw infatuation to know vintage saws. Anything in hear of special interest? Anything anyone looking for?
2 hours round trip but if you wanted something specific, I might be able to convince the wife to loosen my leash a bit...

You don't see too many Remington 663s around. There's what looks to be a decent Homie 750 and 650 in that bunch but without specific pricing, it's hard to know if there's any good deals to be had there.

The Remi 663 may be the only bargain showing only wants $65 for it. The others have been fully restored and he wants full restored prices on them. The 1050 would be $600, 650 & 750 he wants $1500 for..

He does have a Pioneer 400 and NOS parts for one so I may do that if I decide to restore the one of my dad's I found.

No, but thanks for the offer. Just a general comment that if he had clear close up pictures of what he was selling he might do better. I am in selling rather than buying mode.

From my text conversation with him he seems to me more interested in moving the low $$ stuff that hasn't been touched than he is the stuff that has been restored. At some point I am going to make a trip to see what he has.

p.s. Good luck with your move and new position. I wish tools weren't so heavy and expensive to ship as you sure have collected some nice scores that could find a home here.
