I don't lay mine in the snow, I drop them. I like cutting in the snow, I don't have to be as concerned with scuffing my saws up.
Besides it sure beats setting it on the concrete .
Is there something inherently bad about it?

It looks like a deal, but I doubt it's anywhere near "nearly perfect" in my book.
I'd be curious as to why he's selling that one, what happened to the factory bar on the nearly perfect saw .
