I personally think the guy that I bought the 056 mag2 has something to do with it. I generally don’t have people come to my storage unit. I got a call from him saying he was in town with the saw when I was at my unit, and had some stuff spread around. Told him to swing by. I think that may have been a critical mistake.

You know all to well non of this crap sets well with me.
The rest of you guys may not know, but I paid for 2 saws last year that never showed, though couple months, but we all know in time these jokers will end up paying for what they've done, and we will end up having our lots increased as long as we do what's right.
Sorry for your loss Frank, I hope you can recover everything quickly.

WELL...someone broke into my storage unit last night...took a bunch of saws and my generator. Not quite sure what all they took. Right off the bat I know of 2- 2101xp’s a 2100, a nearly new 390xp, a couple 288’s the 056 mag 2 that I just purchased. I’m sure I’ll notice more as I go through them.

Sorry to hear that. Only comfort I can give is it wasn’t me. Do the storage units not have camera?

Dang, sorry Frank. That’s awful. I know we’ll all keep an eye out for them on the usual listing sites...but you’re clearly better at searching those than most of us (me for sure). I now I’m across the country from you but let me know if there’s anything I can do to help.

I’d at least ask the front desk. Get video from last night and also see if they still have video from when the guy came by the Unit. Get the license plate and see if you can get the local law enforcement to do a follow up at the registered address on it.

And not to sound long winded but the last dealings I have had with a storage unit was after by friends dad died. Come to find out the store unit people took one the cars yet stored there. Little did they know my friends mom is a retired civil rights lawyer with nothing better to do. That place is no longer in Business she found a couple other people that had stuff turn up missing too.

Same thing happened to @jimstihl about a year ago. He found two of his saws on eBay. I contacted the guy via eBay. He got two of his saws back. Still lost four. Scour every Craigslist, eBay and any other add for saws. You might get lucky. If you need me to contact anyone advertising a saw and you think it’s yours let me know. Most of the time seller can’t put two and two together.
