That 395 is a good deal. If only I had 800$. And lived in Houston. And used husky's.

you pay over 20 bucks for the oil i just bought a 4 jug case for 57 something here of the grey jug

That's the last of that oil I own.
The last jug I purchased was around $11-12, and it isn't Stihl.

The Grey jugs were about $16 not too long ago, and that's all they carried: no big deal.

Now those same jugs are over $20.

Home Depot has the ECHO B&C oil for $11 & tax, and TSC puts their oil on sale from time to time.

No more high dollar Bar Oil for my Saws.

Yes, as Hsell suggests above, what exactly happens to bar oil when it gets cold? Because while Georgia DOES have some mountains, Mississippi doesn't, and we are LUCKY to get 1 week of freezing Temps to kill of the bugs.

Soooo, I have no clue what to look out for regarding bar oil and freezing, it being too frozen to flow? Exploding the reservoir?

Oils in general are stiffer in cold weather, this is why people warm up their cars or use block heaters.

Nothing explodes it just doesn't flow. Not wanting turn this into a (bar) oil thread and not being an oil expert I just know that cheap oil is a pain in the cold. I buy Efco's house brand and have no problems. Also the better oil doesn't thin way out in the heat. About $10.00 a gallon on sale at the dealer. That TSC County Line crap I don't see how people stand it.

14,000 BTU chainsaw (?) for sale on St. Joseph C'list.

Weird add. I can't tell if it's for a saw or a bike or what.

May be some crack head.
