If it's a running saw spray carb cleaner at leak prone points. If it revs up then you found it. Works on older vehicles too.

Well I toodled my happy lil rear to the shed and tried it out. Fired it up and it was off to the races today. Sprayed clutch side...nuttin, base of cylinder best I could...nuttin, flywheel side through the starter...bogged down every time I sprayed.
