I bought my second 441c from a pawnshop off ebay, very clean saw with a burnt up bar. Found it to have a bad oiler drive/worm gear, that was the old version and a good bit cheaper lol. I bet they will let that go for under 800, probably 750, and if it sits a while cheaper yet.
I sent a very clean 359 down to Plano, home of church Chuck Swindol (spelling) leads.

Just spotted a Craftsman 3.7 at a pawn shop for $49. Probably could get it for $25 lol
Hmm?
The saw that will never quit and you just keep wishing it would lol.
The Roper built saws, yes. The Poulan 3700 based saws are much better, and oftentimes have a very stout top end.
Junk imo,
I'll take a 3700 based saw over MS310/311 everyday of the week. Better AV, simpler to work on, parts are plentiful and cheap, better torque, manual oiler override, no lame ass master control lever, etc.
