I've had bad luck with my few eBay saw purchases. This looks like it may just need a pull start and carburetor work. I dunno but I don't want to take that chance.

Haven't received it yet, so probably will jinx myself but I got this for $280. Yesterday

Good deal or not? I generally steer clear of eBay due to my deep seeded insecurities...

Yes I am aware of that and having dealt with Scott before I am glad. I have just wanted to try a 6100 for awhile,and figured this was the cheapest way to do it, to be honest I didn't expect him to accept the $280. offer. I struggled not to buy the one that was for sale here last week for $450. We will see if I made a mistake or a wise decision...

I called this guy...barely used granberg mill and the saw is a 288. (Unfortunately I just can't get there). Seems like a nice guy...if you're close to Memphis...

It looks clean and if it truly has only 9-10 tanks thru it then I think it's a fair price, we'll see, will definitely keep you posted...

2 hrs ago that was posted, reckon it's still there? I have a sister a little less than 100mi. and 1 that is just under 150mi, surely one of em would do their big brother a favor! Time for sweet talking.

I have got to stop looking at this thread! I want to go to Memphis tomorrow and Augusta today and spend money that I shouldn't...
