My birthday is in June, so I've decided to get the old Hodaka running as at present to myself. I got it for my birthday when I turned 9 or 10.

Anyone spent some time on a Hodaka?

I had a super rat.
I saved all of my money from mowing lawns, shoveling snow and caddying for a few years to buy it. It originally belonged to a neighbor, who bought it for his son. After crashing it once, the kid was afraid to get back on.
I was 14 at the time.
My dad was nine kinds of pissed off. It was several months before he let me ride it, other than around the house. Although, when my parents were gone, it did get a bit more exercise.
I loved that little bike. When I went to college, my dad sold it. I guess he was getting even.

We didn't see the crash, but the race was red flagged. It really shows how fast they're going when he went down.

I owned a 1987 Suzuki quad sport, blue frame with white plastic. It was a great looking and fun machine to have fun with.

My 2016 Beta 300rr is such a bad ass northeast woods bike. Running carbide Grip studs in tires now for frozen trails. I have an old school 93 kdx 200 with Freddette racing porting and suspension mods. Currently restoring 92 kx500 that I can't wait to ride this spring. My kid has a 17 KX85 and is faster everytime we ride. So cool watching his progress from an xr70 to kx65 and now 85. If anyone rides I am down to travel and I have a few hidden gem spots myself.

Just replaced the original tires. cleaned carbs, put that rack on, some fabbing required. Valve check, new stator,battery, lotsa stuff as I dont have the bike history. Wanna ride this year trouble free, did bout 1000 miles last year on it mostly side road. Have collector tags, insurance is then about 1/2.

Very cool. My 2 stroke Beta is plated, not best thing on road but only connects trails mainly and riding to work.
