I'll plan on getting there around 1 on Friday, pitch a tent for Friday night, and leave Saturday around dusk.

I have ported saws in a lot of sizes, no special chains though, is there entry fees for different categories??

Slowest cut??, Most crooked cut???

346 NE, Mastermind
346 OE, Pop up, Brad Snelling
550xp, pop up, Brad
372 xp, Joe Staley
385 xp, Joe Staley

Might bring a 200 rear handle to sell?? Runs good.

I have a rescue saw, doesn't run, 576, for sale??

Couple 660s, ???

What should I bring

Poulan 3800 might sell

Never been to a GTG before

yes 72DL
and if anyone else wants to participate and needs a race chain , just let me know this evening and i will bring them along 72 DL 3/8" .050
Hmmm, with a 20" race chain on my 2511t, I just might get second in the slowest ported saw competition.

FYI - Banner Springs elevation (closest location to the GTG) 1739ft for you guys that need to fine tune your saws. I know for me at home compared to camp 950 ft to 2000 ft some of my saws need a 1/16 to 1/8 turn leaner for the higher elevation. It doesn't seem like a big elevation change but can make a difference.

Well...two things...

Navy son called me 30/45 mins ago...his EAS (End of Active Service) is actually tomorrow, with his terminal leave he’s built up and can take, get paid. The Colorado thing is on temporary hold, him kicking back there for a week or two. He’s gonna stay there in Washington state for 7-10 days, then head back here to Ga. He’s gonna kick back, just enjoy some good times...and a Petty Officer and his wife are going to let him stay with them. I can’t blame him one bit. I thought we knucklehead Jarheads had a bad deal...and we did, make no bones about that!

But that carrier flightdeck life is some bad ass *s-wordt, 16-18 hr’s a day, seven days a week. I can’t wait to hug his ass, shed a tear...he’s proven himself as a man amongst men on this rock! And I’m itching for the bass boat trips and the camping deal as well. We gonna do some heavy shootin’ the *s-wordt, drinking a cold one, fire...and enjoying time together. We gonna get on those bream, crappie, and bass...just like old days!

I got drafted for weekend work...of course with upcoming Monday being a holiday, no damn body signed up for the wknd schedule. Is what it is in this DoD world.

Would’ve liked to make this GTG, shake hands with a lot of good guys, drag that SuperSplit HD on a trailer...so folks could run it, just dick around with it. Many folks coming from many miles away. I’m sure it’s gonna be a great time...and I still want @sawmikaze on my basketball team...if that backboard on the side of that one barn even exists. Some of us 6’3” white boys can shoot that round ball.

Enjoy the GTG gentlemen!
