Totally valid reasonThanks Mike! Now I might have to go tell the wife I'm going to TN for ribs this weekend.
I'll plan on getting there around 1 on Friday, pitch a tent for Friday night, and leave Saturday around dusk.
I have ported saws in a lot of sizes, no special chains though, is there entry fees for different categories??
Slowest cut??, Most crooked cut???

Thanks Mike! Now I might have to go tell the wife I'm going to TN for ribs this weekend.
yes 72DLSounds good, 72 drive Link bar I'm sure???
if you have a 20
bring along a 20" bar in .050 3/8 for each of your saws and i will bring along a race chain you can borrow, the classes are $5 each and a ton of fun
Hmmm, with a 20" race chain on my 2511t, I just might get second in the slowest ported saw competition.yes 72DL
and if anyone else wants to participate and needs a race chain , just let me know this evening and i will bring them along 72 DL 3/8" .050
Yes it does, just ask Dr. Al !!FYI - Banner Springs elevation (closest location to the GTG) 1739ft for you guys that need to fine tune your saws. I know for me at home compared to camp 950 ft to 2000 ft some of my saws need a 1/16 to 1/8 turn leaner for the higher elevation. It doesn't seem like a big elevation change but can make a difference.
Ya we chatted about it a few months ago. Almost sea level to 1800 ft can cause stuff to go a little rich.Yes it does, just ask Dr. Al !!
