(Comparing prices of Echo chainsaws in USA and Germany, the formula is roughly $nnn ~ €nnn*1.6.)

a sub 600.00 70cc echo would've been great
but not a 372/572 priced one.

i bought a new 2166 420.00
maybe the price on the echo will settle.
the 590 was 400.00 at first
bought mine new a few month's later for 280.00

I have never seen a 590 below $350 around here.

I agree the price will have to slide down 75-100 to be in the mix.

i bought 2 they were so cheap.
used one about 6 year's and traded it for a nice 268
i traded the new one to dunlap.

One of the tree removal companies around here use two 590's. They ask me to sharpen and make chains for them all the time. They say they pick one of those up all the time rather than their Stihl FarmBoss instead. I imagine the 590 is a couple of pounds lighter than the clamshell and may have more grunt.

Husky is getting proud too on the pro saws they are still cheaper than a Stihl but not as big of a swing between the two now. 572xp is 960 ish and a ms 462 is 1129
