Redmax is the 3rd best selling brand of commercial hand held landscaper equipment in the USA. That's without any major marketing / advertising.

Husqvarna was actually surprised that Redmax outsold them. That's the reason for the relaunch with more husq/Jred product in the lineup.

We still have the core redmax product but with more junk mixed in.

Until this forum I never heard of Redmax. When I checked around the only Redmax dealer is 28 miles from me.

I knew Jonsered was going away 10 months before the Jred distributors did. Or was it it a year and 10 months. I forget.

I heard that news in October of 2016 or 2015. The distributors found out in August of 2017.

See how much I follow this stuff. I didn't know it was gone. Haha

The only problem I can see with it Mike is it weighs more than the 50cc 490/501. Nice looking saw otherwise.

Yes I seen one at their demo day at the local dealer. I was just as unimpressed with the 4510 as I was impressed with the 2511. He said it was their ms251. It is heavy for a 45cc saw but it looked even bulkier. It looked as big as a 590. And that triangle starter cover should be illegal.

Man you have good eyes but you do seem to be correct. The way that jug looks slanted maybe it’s a V-twin!

I won’t go that far, that cover sucks. Looks like something off one of those 60cc $100 EBay saws.

Cant believe I'm the first to say this but the plastiks look sharp and brittle!

Am I looking at that wrong or does that look like the jug slats forward. Looks like cooling fins point down towards the muffler. Also the carb screws look really low.

The "slats" are actually part of brake handle - covers muffler from accidental hand contact. Carb screws should be low - there is some curious stuff going on in airbox. But the thing with holes above the tank seems to be just the rear AV spring holder (see cs590/620)
