Doing a Honda TRX 250 replacement cylinder sleeve for a coworker on my lunch/breaks. Using a one made by
LA Sleeve. Have to bore the original out because it’s cast in.

I found that out in 1967 in Key West Florida riding a Yamaha 250 .I got unhorsed when it hit resonance .Got a little case of asphault fever out of that deal .
Many of those early piped rides were like going from a moped to a jet engine within a very smallish rpm increase. I'm thinking about some of the small air cooled twin 2t's. Didn't mater if they were dirt bike singles or RD's

In that event you have to remember I was 19 years old and used to riding Harleys not Japanese crotch rockets .The full dress iron horse from Milwaukee was a road bike .It would take a crane to get that front end up .The rice burner it was just a little twist of the wrist which I learned the hard way .However several barley pops and a liberal amount of Jim Beam probabley played a bigger role .-- In the navy ,young and dumb ----

Got some more done today on the TRX cylinder. Tried the new boring head that was in the tool storage cabinet.

Makes it faster, 😉, I’ve done it a number of times to different ones , especially hard to find ones,
If it works, go for it.

I have junked a couple clutches & drums that were fried on used saw purchases.
Although, saws that clutches can still be had new.
