I have a Makita EA4300. Purchased it from Home Depot rental department a couple years ago. Seemed like it had good compression but only a couple tanks through it and this is the damage. I think it will be an easy fix and I already have rings for it. Would be nice to get something for the ride but available if someone is interested. Happy to take current pictures if needed.

I am interested in it if it's not spoken for already.

I guess I'm too late for this. I've been in bed. Tested positive for COVID yesterday.

I sent a PM to @farminkarman to see what he wants to do. Still has good compression and Kevin thought a new ring and clean the cylinder would take care of it. Could need a carb clean/kit as it hasn't been run for a couple of years.

Just let me know what you guys want to do and thanks for the interest.

I have officially passed on this saw to give someone else a shot at it.

I would like to find another good saw to donate to the volunteer group I help sponsor. Husqvarna 50, 51 or 55 since I have a couple parts for those. But any decent saw that won't cost me a fortune to fix would be great.
I have a Husky 55 that I just picked up. Don’t know much about it probably needs top end. I’ll get pictures if you want it. Send pm

If you get one of these saws, I have a new gasket set with crank seals I can donate. I no longer have a 55 so no sense in having these gaskets laying around

Yes I'd appreciate it

I thought it had a top cover, but don't see it in the box. I'll look around and see if I find it.

This was picked up from a hardware store. There was a problem with the saw. They condemned it under warranty and the tag was sent back to get reimbursed.

If you want it pm your address and I'll send it your way.

@ammoaddict , sorry you missed the saw and I hope you get well soon.

@Steve , I will work on getting the saw shipped out next week and keep you posted.
Be nice to see the saw put back to work. Must have been scored before I got it.

I’m sending him one it needs a top cover and clutch cover probably top end. It was just a parts saw. If someone has these parts they would be appreciated.

I can use the 55 gaskets and seals if ammoaddict does not need them.
I've noticed some cyl. gaskets are thicker than others.

If he and I could team up, we'd rule the world with clapped out 55 parts.
