That would be a nice little saw.View attachment 272364 View attachment 272365 View attachment 272366
had plans on trying to fix it but doesn’t look fun to work on so up for shipping cost. Runs ok as long as your on throttle but won’t stay idling. Impulse line looks ok and boot looks ok but that’s as far as I’ve gone.
I doubt that i will ever come across a Husky top handle around here.View attachment 272364 View attachment 272365 View attachment 272366

The 540 is going to Yukon Stihl for shipping costs

When you get it hit me up I learned a lot working on them.I doubt that i will ever come across a Husky top handle around here.
If you don't mind the extra hassle to ship to Canada...
I know it's not a Stihl,but...
As the saying goes Change my Mind

Yes......rings.
Throw some rings in it if walls are good and a piston if needed and send it! I would.. But I'm not at the level of expertise or rebuilditness of most of you. They are known for that...
Carb kit solved most of the running issues on the ones I have. Had the same symptoms as the one in here.Throw some rings in it if walls are good and a piston if needed and send it! I would.. But I'm not at the level of expertise or rebuilditness of most of you.
