Probably not...we normally are plenty busy just production cutting, but I have a lot of fencing that needs to be done on the place if we have any time off.

Yeah, the fire thing isn't going to be busy enough this year that it would be worth a guy quitting a steady gig.

That's how I got a job with the company - three of their long-timers quit to go do the fire thing in northern California. I got on right after the fire season and we had a lot of work.

I have had this one since the beginning of 2018. I am pretty happy with how well it has lasted and worked so far. They sell them locally now as well. Mine came from Europe.

Didn’t know anyone in the states had them if I had I probably would of picked one up from a “local” shop.

Yeah, we just started seeing them at Myrtle Creek Saw Shop a month or so ago. A lot of Stihl guys won’t use them though, lol.

I have a few times, but generally it is empty. I actually have some flagging in there now that I use to mark trails.

A unit we cut last November/December near Elkton. They were hanging around 7-8000’ feet to the tail-hold.

A few pictures of when we were cutting on it. There was some ugly snow-damage, but overall wasn’t too bad. Chase had the worst of it to be honest.
