Very cool pictures Clearcut! Those are some wicked Bluffs.View attachment 235288 View attachment 235289 View attachment 235290 View attachment 235291 Crazy thing happened on the way home from work...We were on our way home, on the 8500 road on the Millicoma tree farm, when we come around the corner, and there is somebody parachuting off of this unit we cut. These are older pictures of the unit, I couldn’t get any of the guy. His buddies went and picked him up down in the valley floor. What an animal, lol!
Yeah, they are pretty cool. They were fun to cut. We have cut 3 units for 3 different landowners that all connect here, totaling a little over 300 acres.Very cool pictures Clearcut! Those are some wicked Bluffs.

This shows the top unit and the lower one connected with a slide prevention leave tree area in the middle. Then we cut most of those trees in the foreground this last fall.Yeah, they are pretty cool. View attachment 235508 Kind of an odd thing to see on Weyerhaeuser ground up in the mountains a ways. I’m not sure what it is for. I’ll have to find out.
Very beautiful country. I figured you were in Oregon just wasn't sure where. I grew up in the Willamette Valley (McMinnville) but moved as a young teen many years ago. I spent 15 years in the woods, mostly either cutting or under/in a yarder in north Idaho. Never thought much about taking pictures but I sure wish I had. I really enjoy everyone's posts here along with some of the oldies that get put here.So we are on top of the Callahan range overlooking Roseburg. It sure is beautiful. I’ve always enjoyed the Willamette Valley’s grass seed farm country. I bought my combine and swather from a mint farmer near McMinnville.Very beautiful country.
