Nice cedar stump. Some of those are still around 12 to 15 for high after the Tillamook burn. There is still several tons of good shake material in a lot of them.

This is where we were earlier today up Burnt Mountain. We were doing roadside in the bottom until the shovel broke down. So we went to the top to see where the last strip is. A few other guys cut most of this, we are just going to finish it up. Maybe a week or so.Skeans1

Heard Roseburg is shut down completely, Weyco is slowing down/laying off contractors.
You guys might be cutting pulp jobs here soon if export falls off too.

Been thinning 65 year old stuff, if pulp goes high I’ve got some stands that could used to be thinned plus Christmas tree fields that need some thinning so they can get some air.

The first picture shows a premium tree propped up, lol. We’ve got quite a bit of old-growth coming up that I’ll get some pictures of. Lots of madrone and myrtle-wood in this strip as well.

Get some Madone pictures if you get a chance. I love burning that wood, it makes some really nice furniture as well.
