Have to admit it took a certain breed of logger to work with frozen solid Saskatchewan timber.
Especially when using a crosscut and axe.

Cutting some ash here lately. There has been some nice trees! Some of these will make good saw logs. Here's and example

It's crazy that these are solid in the middle. Here is the same tree 50 ft up

At 50 ft still roughly 20 inches! Should get 5 saw logs out of this guy! $$$$
