German shepherds are prone to hip dysplasia and spine problems. Especially the showlines with the sway back lower rearend. I have two working lines one takes supplements to help prevent this condition, we also watch him carefully so he doesn't jump.There were several handicapped pups, immobile on their hinds.
I managed to snap pictures of two of them.
They were specified as "do not touch", as such we weren't allowed to get too close to them.

I dare think it is safe to assume these will live their lives in the shelter, sadly!
This toy is still alive!Pupper got a new toy from my younger sister, her current favorite.
